I'm glad you're here!
Welcome

My goal is to be a resource, a support and a motivator to help you achieve whatever health related goals you desire. Throughout this site you will find several pathways to improve overall health and wellness. Education is important. Desire is important. Drive is important. I cannot give you everything you need, but I will give you everything I can. My personal mentor instills in me the desire to be eternally optimistic, always look on the bright side, and be willing to try and try (and perhaps try) again!

A bit about Jodiā€¦

I can remember realizing as a child that my daily choices would determine my health as an adult and how long I would be able to be active. Sports dominated my life through high school and are still an integral part of my daily routine. My children know, mommy only stays healthy and happy if she stays active.
My professional endeavor with massage started in 2003. I had taken classes and training programs in high school for Athletic Training and Physical Therapy, but still felt something was missing. My traditional college years, I majored in Kinesology, Journalism, Speech Communication, Coaching, Dance and other various areas. None of these completely enticed me but all gave me valuable information and helped shape my desires for what I truly wanted to achieve in my work.

Tip of the week: August 17th

Change it up!

The body craves variety!
The brain needs variety!

This is true with all daily habits, even with exercise!
We are 'fine-tuned machines' designed to accomodate and adapt as needed... so if you continue to always do the same things, your body and your brain go into auto-pilot.  Sounds okay right?  Not really...
When you stop growing and changing and doing new things, your brain, your muscles, your metabolism... all become stagnant... you know what stagnate water looks and smells like --- not soo good for your body!!

Mix things up and try new activities... every 4 -6 weeks at the least, please!

:-)
