I can remember realizing as a child that my daily choices would determine my health as an adult and how long I would be able to be active. Sports dominated my life through high school and are still an integral part of my daily routine. My children know, mommy only stays healthy and happy if she stays active.

My professional endeavor with massage started in 2003. I had taken classes and training programs in high school for Athletic Training and Physical Therapy, but still felt something was missing. My traditional college years, I majored in Kinesology, Journalism, Speech Communication, Coaching, Dance and other various areas. None of these completely enticed me but all gave me valuable information and helped shape my desires for what I truly wanted to achieve in my work.

My professional education continued at Ashford University where I graduated Suma Cume Laude in Health and Wellness from the College of Health and Human Services and Sciences in 2014. Since my massage graduation in 2004, I have taken several continuing education classes to further my abilities and knowledge base in the areas of stretching, joint mobilization, and muscle re-education. The possibilities I have explored with massage have allowed me to truly do a"job" I LOVE everyday and continue to live an active lifestyle. I am able to be with my children, and with my clients, both in the ways they need. I have strived for and learned to find balance in my life. It is rewarding to help my clients to further balance their lives as well through my additional training and learning program support as a Certified Health Coach as well.
