You are not alone. Millions of Americans are caught in an obesigenic world that is plagued with fast food options around every corner, poor eating habits, a general lack of activity, high stress environments, insufficient sleep, and a"sick-care" health system. In this unsupported environment, it is no wonder that two-thirds of adult Americans are overweight, and the predicted health of future generations is even more uncertain.

My passion in life has always been to help people, in any way I can. I became a Health Coach for that exact reason. I find myself surrounded by numerous people who look to me for advice, recommendations, referrals, etc, all concerned with their health.

Now I can help my clients be in complete control of their health. I can offer a simple solution: high-quality, medically formulated meal replacements combined with free coaching support to help you lose weight and keep it off. It is not a diet, but a two-phased approach for weight loss and maintenance. Small actions, such as building exercise into your day and eating breakfast, add up to make a significant impact on your overall health. Throughout this process, I will serve as your mentor, educator, coach, and friend.

Before you know it, friends, family, colleagues, and even your doctor will want to know your secret to looking and feeling good. There is no greater feeling than when I am able to introduce optimal health to a Client, a life-long friend!

Detox for Wellbeing!

This is not about food!  Sure, your gut and body could benefit from different ways of 'purging' the 'bad'...but we mean lifestyle detox!


Resetting your inner being...

1. Digital Detox - No screens, no phone, no TV... take a weekend, a week, a day... whatever you can manage; set an out of office and take time away from the digital world!
2. Social Media Detox - This means no checking in!  Connect with the real people in your life... delete the app off your phone for good measure.  One day, One week, One month... you decide!
3. Complaining Detox - Instead of looking at problems look for solutions; change your way of speaking!  
4. Clutter Detox - Go one room at a time.  Ask yourself if the items bring you joy or not... if the answer is no, get rid of it!
5. Negativity Detox - Notice everything around you, make a list if it is a joy or brings you down, then how can you reduce the negative volume in your life.  Whether it be your actions or your thoughts... change your attitude!

Recipe of the week: November 30th

Loaded Sweet Potatoes

Ingredients: (for 1 serving)

  • 1 sweet potato
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes to taste

Directions: 

1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Place the sweet potato on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake it for approx. 45 minutes until it is soft.

2. Then cut the potato in half and scoop out most of the flesh, leaving a 5 mm layer of potato. But don’t throw the tasty flesh away – you can use it as an extra side dish or turn it into mashed sweet potatoes.

3. Carefully crack an egg into each sweet potato half and bake your skins for an additional 15-20 minutes. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and some crushed red pepper flakes before enjoying your orange-colored snack ????

*One serving contains about 400 calories, 60 g of carbohydrates, 20 g of protein and 10 g of fat*
